Dr. Misty Gibson holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, practicing clinical licenses in Washington state (LMHC) and Maryland (LCPC), certifications as a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), and a Board Certified Diplomate with the American Board of Sexologists, and supervisory certifications as an ATCS and an ACS.

Dr. Misty owns the group practice FlowArt Therapy. She also teaches courses in the mental health counseling programs at Antioch University and The Chicago School for Professional Psychology. She and Michell co-own a weekly newsletter called The Sparkle News and The Sparkle app.

Dr. Misty is a neurodivergent, polyamorous, and queer human, and her passion is speaking up for and affirming other folx in these identities. When she's not working on a million projects, she loves spending time with her family, being in nature, and dissecting true crime.
